Our family business began over 40 years ago on a historic, charming, cobble stone street in Georgetown. Ed and Gerri Solomon opened Wedding Creations doors to a rave review by the Washington Times praising the boutique for unique personal service. About 20 years ago we started in the tuxedo business.

Monday through Saturday you can find Ed sitting behind the antique desk near the fireplace chatting to a customer. He has helped countless grooms, groomsmen, and partygoers find the perfect tuxedo and accessories.

And yes, it is true; we can provide a tuxedo rental in one hour. We have over 400 tuxedos stocked in our store. Recently, Ed and Gerri’s daughter Hope has decided she wanted to become a part of the family business. With her eye for fashion and determination to make sure everyone walks out with a bridesmaid dress that fits their vision with the same personal service.
